Some of the initiatives Sofacompany has implemented in the company include planting 5 trees in collaboration with Trees For The Future for every piece of furniture sold. Additionally, Sofacompany has produced a sustainable textile made from no less than 98% recycled plastic bottles.

Tracking sustainability figures

"We have provided Sofacompany with a quick and easy overview so that they can always see exactly how many trees have been planted and how much pollution they have saved the environment from", Henning Falck, Business consultant at TRIMIT explains.

The system also calculates how many plastic bottles have been recycled into the company's new sustainable textile. This way, Sofacompany can see precisely how much they have contributed to the environment, how much each of their products consumes, and how close they are to achieving their sustainability goals.

It makes a difference

TRIMIT has helped us create a system that makes it easier for us to keep track of some of our sustainability initiatives. It's fantastic to be able to follow and see that a lot of trees are being planted and many bottles are being recycled – this way, we can also see that it actually makes a difference.
